The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Boyd, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Heels changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boyd looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Boyd is trying to control Heels's posture but Heels avoids it.
Boyd tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Heels wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boyd takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Heels working the head with strikes.
Heels landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Heels is working Boyd over with some ground and pound from side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boyd takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Boyd is rocked!
Heels cracks Boyd with a big elbow.
Boyd is still in real trouble! Can Heels finish him?
Heels in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Boyd looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Heels turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
