The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko keeps the fight on the outside.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Stack holds on and takes a little breather.

Darko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stack with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Darko thows a huge punch but Stack dodges it nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jim Stack.
Stack fails with an attempt to clinch.
Darko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stack sprawls well. Stack wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Darko gets slowly back to his feet.

Darko shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stack napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Donnie Darko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Stack throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Darko fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Stack shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Darko as he jumps to the side.
Stack doesn't manage to clinch there - Darko circles away.
Stack gets caught napping as Darko dives in and scores a takedown. Stack manages to retain guard.

Darko postures up in Stack's guard and throws a big left but Stack blocks it.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Stack pulls Darko in close to prevent any damage.
We're going to have a standup here because Jim Stack wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Stack tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Darko looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Darko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Darko tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stack swivels and escapes.
Jim Stack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donnie Darko.

Darko gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Stack is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The fighters circling - Stack throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stack decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Darko wants to improve his position but Stack is controlling well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
