Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ratt Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waldorf Astoria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hughes comes into the arena with Country boy can survive blaring out of the sound system. Astoria is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Waltz from Les Sylphides. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Astoria throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Astoria staying out of range there.
Astoria pushes Hughes up against the cage in a clinch.
Hughes gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Astoria regains guard.
Astoria pulls Hughes in to control the position.
Astoria working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hughes.
Hughes trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Astoria has control of Hughes's left arm, preventing Hughes from doing any damage.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Waldorf Astoria wasn't active enough on the ground.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Astoria lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hughes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hughes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hughes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Hughes throws a lazy uppercut
and Astoria finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Hughes steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Astoria. That one must have hurt.
Hughes fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Astoria to the ground. Hughes is now in Astoria's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hughes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Astoria wants to stand and escape but Hughes is having none of it.

Waldorf Astoria comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Astoria winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
