Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Super Villain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kong King!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villain leaves King with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Villain displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from King.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Villain enables King to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Villain manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
King is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
King is pushing down on Villain's leg trying to pass to half guard. Villain is fighting to maintain full guard but King has managed to sneak the leg through.
King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
King perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Let's hope that King has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
King moves nicely into side control.
King is working Villain over with some ground and pound from side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
King lands a few punches from side control.
King throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
King looks up at the clock and then as Villain takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, King smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Villain is rocked!
Villain takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Oh Villain is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
King scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Villain is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and King can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kong King!
Our winner, Kong King, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
