Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Frac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Jericho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jericho comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Awesome God kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! On his way into the cage it seems that James Frac has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily James Frac seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rey Jericho!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frac doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Jericho counters with a shoot takedown. Frac fights it but they end up in guard.
Jericho must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jericho got a little sloppy there for a moment and Frac has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jericho has managed to get both his arms back between Frac's legs - danger averted.

Frac bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Jericho has his foot on Frac's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Frac works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jericho is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jericho has control of Frac's left arm, preventing Frac from doing any damage.
Frac tries to free his leg and advance position but Jericho is retaining full guard.

Frac drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jericho manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Frac has Jericho in his guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jericho is working Frac over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Frac working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jericho doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jericho manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Frac has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jericho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jericho slips a nice elbow through Frac's hands, connecting with Frac's forehead.
Jericho lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Frac! More strikes land and this one is all over! Jericho jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
