Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ruslan Matviyenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orkan Dogu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matviyenko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Slaughter 2017 -Nin. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matviyenko looks to clinch
and Dogu counters with a shoot takedown. Matviyenko fights it but they end up in guard.
Matviyenko wants to sweep but no luck.
Dogu landing some decent shots from guard.
Dogu throwing strikes but missing.
Matviyenko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dogu loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Matviyenko has momentary wrist control but Dogu slips an elbow through the middle.
Matviyenko utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dogu stands up over Matviyenko, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Dogu passes into half guard.
Dogu thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Matviyenko's head.
Dogu throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dogu working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Matviyenko is rocked!
Dogu lands a big elbow - Matviyenko is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Dogu!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Orkan Dogu!
Orkan Dogu decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
