Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Richie Porter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caio Magalhaes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Porter comes into the arena with Drake Ft. Lil Wayne The Motto blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Magalhaes.
Porter is being controlled here.
Magalhaes trying to control the position but Porter is working away.
Porter is looking for a sweep.
Magalhaes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Magalhaes is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Porter's shoulder. That is not cool.

Magalhaes stands up and beckons Porter to his feet.
Magalhaes throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Porter was covering up waiting for the punch and Magalhaes finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Magalhaes moves forwards but Porter connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Magalhaes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Magalhaes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Porter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The fight stays on the outside here - Porter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Magalhaes tries a head kick but it misses.
Porter clinches up with Magalhaes and pushes him back against the cage.

Porter goes for a takedown attempt but Magalhaes pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Porter throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Magalhaes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Porter takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Magalhaes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Porter swivels and escapes.

Porter lands a jab to the nose.
Magalhaes wants to clinch.
Porter slaps away a takedown attempt from Magalhaes, before circling back to the center of the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Porter stuffs the takedown attempt from Magalhaes. Magalhaes gets slowly back to his feet.
Richie Porter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caio Magalhaes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Porter shoots in for a double leg but Magalhaes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Nice takedown defense from Porter. No joy for Magalhaes on that attempt.
Porter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Magalhaes sprawls well. Magalhaes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Porter gets slowly back to his feet.
Porter sizes up Magalhaes with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Magalhaes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Porter is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Porter tries to control the position but Magalhaes now has his back.
Porter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Magalhaes on the ground.
Magalhaes controlling the position well here. Porter rolled but Magalhaes kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Magalhaes's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Magalhaes has managed to slip his arm under Porter's chin. This could be all over... yep, Porter is tapping out! Submission win for Magalhaes.
