Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christian Alkofer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Swe Dish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swe Dish will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Christian Alkofer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Swe Dish! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alkofer is looking to clinch but Dish is avoiding it.
Dish throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Alkofer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Alkofer prevents Dish from getting back to his feet. Dish avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Dish avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Alkofer throwing strikes but missing. Alkofer lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Alkofer passes Dish's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Alkofer is working for a kimura but Dish is defending it quite comfortably.

Very athletic spring there. Dish slaps away a takedown attempt from Alkofer, before circling back to the center of the mat. Alkofer shoots in for a double leg but Dish sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dish throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alkofer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Christian Alkofer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Alkofer blocks a head kick by Dish.
A big right from Alkofer misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Alkofer. A lazy left from Dish finds it's target. Alkofer tries to clinch but Dish is having none of it. Alkofer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dish avoids it really well and circles away. Dish scores with a jab to the body. Alkofer is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Alkofer tries to land a leg kick but Dish saw it coming and moves away.
Alkofer wants to clinch up but Dish keeps it at a distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Alkofer dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Alkofer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dish misses with a few strikes there.

Dish is looking to stand up but Alkofer isn't so interested in that idea. Alkofer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Alkofer drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dish manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alkofer has Dish in his guard. Dish wants to control from the top but Alkofer keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dish throws an elbow that misses. Alkofer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dish's guard. Nice move by Alkofer! Dish working a defensive guard here.
Alkofer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dish works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Alkofer throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dish has his feet on Alkofer's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Alkofer on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Alkofer with a lazy takedown attempt and Dish counters with a left to the body. Alkofer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Alkofer fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Christian Alkofer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dish feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Alkofers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A momentary lapse in concentration from Dish enables Alkofer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dish manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dish wants to get back to his feet but Alkofer is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Dish trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alkofer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Dish managing to control the position. Alkofer trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Alkofer working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Dish controls Alkofer momentarily but Alkofer frees himself. Alkofer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dish swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dish wants to stand and escape but Alkofer is having none of it. Alkofer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dish's guard. Dish wants to control but Alkofer is keeping busy.
Dish is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Alkofer scores with a couple of nice shots. Dish wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alkofer is looking for a kimura but Dish is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Alkofer to get the leverage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Alkofer prevents Dish from improving his position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dish is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Christian Alkofer will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

A head kick misses from Dish. Dish lands a leg kick that knocks Alkofer off balance momentarily. A combination from Dish does no damage. Dish tries a head kick but it misses.
Alkofer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dish as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Christian Alkofer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dish cracks the inside of Alkofer's front leg. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dish lands a high kick!
Dish goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Alkofer fails to land the takedown. Dish misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alkofer fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Dish lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alkofer circles away quickly and effectively. Alkofer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dish defends it nicely. Dish lands with a slapping head kick. Alkofer takes one on the button. Alkofer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Alkofer is rocked! Dish connects with a nice cross there... Alkofer is looking wobbly and Dish recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Alkofer to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Dish jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
