Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Wrassle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zero comes to the cage accompanied by José the Bronx Rican - Spittin' Narcicism. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Joe Wrassle enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Zero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Wrassle! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zero closes the distance and clinches up with Wrassle, looking for a takedown. Zero pushes Wrassle against the cage but Wrassle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Zero shoots and misses and Wrassle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Zero's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Zero is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Wrassle chips away with some ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Zero is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wrassle is aware though and is defending well. Wrassle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Zero has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wrassle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Zero looking for a guillotine here but Wrassle defends easily.
Wrassle trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Zero keeping moving, preventing Wrassle from controlling successfully. Zero is looking for a triangle but Wrassle pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Zero working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wrassle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wrassle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wrassle postures up and lands a big shot to Zero's brow. Zero throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Wrassle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Zero had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wrassle defends it easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! That's two minutes gone in the round. Wrassle postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Zero working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wrassle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wrassle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Zero has his foot on Wrassle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wrassle works his way back into a safe position though. Wrassle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wrassle lands a couple of digs. Wrassle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Zero looking for a guillotine here but Wrassle defends easily.
Wrassle is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Zero is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wrassle is aware though and is defending well. Wrassle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Zero is looking for a triangle but Wrassle pushes his legs off easily.
Wrassle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zero swivels though and keeps the full guard. Zero escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wrassle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Zero is looking for a triangle but Wrassle pushes his legs off easily.
Wrassle landing some decent shots from guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Zero dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Zero fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Zero gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wrassle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Zero shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wrassle defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Zero. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zero fails with the takedown so Wrassle counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wrassle trying to control the position from guard on top but Zero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Zero keeping full guard, as Wrassle tries to pass. Wrassle advances position into side control! Zero is trying to escape the position but Wrassle is controlling the position. Zero takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wrassle is working Zero over with some ground and pound from side control. Zero manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wrassle lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Zero is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wrassle pulls his head out easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Zero looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Wrassle working the head and body with strikes. Zero looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Zero looking for submissions off his back. Zero is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wrassle works his way into side control. Wrassle wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zero keeps working. Zero tries to improve position but can't.

This has been an exciting period of action! Wrassle lands a few punches from side control. Zero is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Wrassle wants to pass the guard but Zero is defending well. Zero is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wrassle pulls his head out easily. Wrassle is trying to control. Zero wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Wrassle lands with a punch from half guard. Wrassle winds up and cracks Zero with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Zero actively working from the bottom here. Zero looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wrassle trying to mount his opponent but Zero defends it. Wrassle is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Wrassle moves into full mount! Zero won't be happy about that! Wrassle with the ground and pound from mount. Wrassle has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zero's face.
Zero tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wrassle scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Wrassle putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zero bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Zero drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Wrassle manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Zero has Wrassle in his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wrassle slips nicely into half guard. Zero looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Wrassle is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Zero looking for submissions off his back. Zero is in trouble now - Wrassle has advanced to mount! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wrassle landing strikes from the mount and Zero is in trouble! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Wrassle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Zero fails with the takedown and Wrassle counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wrassle moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Zero. Wrassle wants to control but Zero is keeping him busy. Max Zero overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Zero is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wrassle wants to control but Zero is keeping him busy. Zero is looking for a sweep. Wrassle swings around for an armbar but Zero sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Wrassle's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Zero advances position into side control! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zero is trying to get an arm triangle but Wrassle is defending well.

Zero is rocked! Wrassle is in the full mount, landing strikes. Oh Zero is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wrassle is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Zero goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Wrassle!
