Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henric Andersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robb Spewak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Andersen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sultans Of Swing. Spewak has chosen The German National Anthem as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Henric Andersen! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robb Spewak! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spewak shoots and misses and Andersen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Andersen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Spewak, pushing him back against the cage. Andersen on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Spewak wants to stall.
Andersen tries to break free but Spewak pushes him back against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Andersen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No luck for Spewak with that takedown attempt. Spewak shoots and misses and Andersen counters with a stiff right hand. Henric Andersen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robb Spewak. Spewak shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Andersen as he avoids it easily. Spewak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Andersen avoids it really well and circles away. Andersen connects with a solid leg kick. Andersen stuffs the takedown attempt from Spewak. Spewak gets slowly back to his feet. Andersen darts in trying to clinch and Spewak counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andersen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Andersen throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Andersen wants to control but Spewak is keeping busy and won't allow it. Spewak is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Andersen defends it well. Andersen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Andersen gets full guard. Andersen throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Andersen is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Spewak frees his head nicely. Oh but Andersen has switched to an armbar! Spewak is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Henric Andersen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
