Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krayzie Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Shinsato! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shinsato is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Jackson misses with a left hand and Shinsato decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jackson's guard. Jackson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Shinsato looking to pass the guard. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Shinsato from controlling successfully. Jackson has a closed guard, preventing Shinsato from standing up. Shinsato throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shinsato stands and steps away. Jackson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and Shinsato moves out of range easily. Jackson thows a body shot but no joy.

Jackson won't be happy with that. Shinsato throws an elbow but Jackson slips to the side and avoids it well. You can see the frustration on Jackson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Shinsato looks up at the clock and then as Jackson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Shinsato smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Jackson parries the strikes from Shinsato easily there. Shinsato is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jackson to escape.
Shinsato is staying tight to Jackson's torso, preventing him from escaping. Shinsato wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. Jackson tries to escape but Shinsato is in control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shinsato thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Jackson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Shinsato is controlling him well. Jackson manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Shinsato is looking for a kimura here.

But no, Jackson has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Shinsato but great work by Jackson. Shinsato explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson throws a head kick that Shinsato semi-blocks.

Shinsato shoots in for a double leg but Jackson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Krayzie Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akira Shinsato. Jackson jabs at Shinsato's body. Shinsato fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jackson sprawls well initially but Shinsato persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Akira Shinsato has got the better of the ground game so far. Jackson won't allow Shinsato to pass to mount. Shinsato is working for a kimura but Jackson is defending it quite comfortably.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shinsato looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Shinsato is looking to take a break and control but Jackson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Shinsato not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Shinsato trying to mount his opponent but Jackson defends it. Jackson is looking to get back to is feet but Shinsato passes into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shinsato decides to stand back up. Jackson tries a head kick but it misses.
Shinsato shoots in but no luck this time. Jackson chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Shinsato shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but Shinsato keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jackson rushes Shinsato and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Shinsato pulls guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jackson is standing up over Shinsato. Shinsato looks to escape but Jackson dives into side control.
Shinsato is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Jackson asserts his dominance and retains side control. Jackson trying to control the action but Shinsato is working from the bottom. Shinsato tries to escape but Jackson is in control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson controls the position. Shinsato is not content to let Jackson control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Krayzie Jackson will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Jackson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Shinsatos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Jackson fails in his attempt to clinch. Shinsato closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jackson circles away. Shinsato shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Krayzie Jackson is winning the standup battle so far. Good exchange - Jackson coming out on top. Jackson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Shinsato shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jackson sprawls well. Jackson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shinsato gets slowly back to his feet. The ref stands the fighters back up. Krayzie Jackson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jackson is looking to land body kicks.
