Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mon Key! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hishioki Tayudo! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Key tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Tayudo counters with a leg kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tayudo.
Key closes the distance looking to clinch and Tayudo counters with a head kick that drops Key to the mat! Key scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tayudo misses with a body kick. Key wants to clinch and Tayudo counters with an inside leg kick. Key tries to clinch but Tayudo moves away and as Key loses concentration momentarily, Tayudo counters with a picture perfect head kick! Key goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
