Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Borgen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meogeedo Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meogeedo Machida told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thomas Borgen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Meogeedo Machida!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Borgen checks it well.
Borgen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Borgen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Machida's head.
Borgen throws a sloppy head kick and Machida moves out of range easily.
Borgen scores with a head kick.
Borgen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Borgen looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Borgen misses with a head kick.
Borgen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Borgen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Machida moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Machida moves out of range of the body kick from Borgen.
Borgen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Thomas Borgen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Borgen misses with a double jab.
Borgen delivers a nice body kick.
Machida shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Machida is working for a submission of some sort.
Borgen is trying to stand.
Machida looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Machida is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Borgen sees it coming and defends easily.
Borgen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Machida is trying for a kimura here. Borgen looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Machida wins by kimura!
