Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Akbar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanamichi Sakuragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akbar lands a leg kick that knocks Sakuragi off balance momentarily.
Sakuragi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Akbar can pounce on him.
Sakuragi stuffs the takedown.
Sakuragi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Hunter Akbar has been cut.
Akbar connects with a solid leg kick.
Akbar scores with a takedown into Sakuragi's guard.
Akbar wants to control from the top but Sakuragi keeps moving.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sakuragi is trying to push Akbar away but Akbar has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Sakuragi has had enough of the clinch but Akbar keeps him there for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Akbar just misses with a punch to the body.
Sakuragi swings for the body but Akbar moves out of range.
Akbar tries a head kick but it misses.
Sakuragi checks a leg kick nicely.
Sakuragi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Akbar.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sakuragi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Akbar - the referee stops the clock and Sakuragi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Akbar. Sakuragi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Akbar looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sakuragi!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sakuragi tries to buck Akbar off but he can't manage it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sakuragi is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

It looks like Hanamichi Sakuragi has been cut.
Akbar drops a big elbow. That's hurt Sakuragi! More shots from Akbar and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
