Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ringo Dingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Genghis Khan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ringo Dingo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Genghis Khan!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Genghis Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dingo's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Khan connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dingo scrambles back to his feet.
Dingo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Khan throws a series of punches but Dingo moves out of range.

Dingo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Khan keeping moving, preventing Dingo from controlling successfully.
Khan wants to stand and escape but Dingo is having none of it.
Khan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Dingo wants to stand but Khan has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Dingo lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Dingo prevents Khan from getting back to his feet.

Khan kicks Dingo off and gets to his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Khan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Khan throws a combination that misses
and Dingo counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Dingo closes the distance and clinches.
Khan has had enough of the clinch but Dingo keeps him there for the moment.

Dingo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Khan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Dingo has managed to clinch.
Khan is working Dingo over against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Khan.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A head punch on the inside from Khan fails to land.

Khan tries to work over Dingo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Khan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Dingo is trying to pull guard but Khan has him pressed against the cage.
Dingo keeps control of Khan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Dingo keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Khan's efforts to push away.

Dingo manages to break the clinch.
Khan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dingo.
Khan is looking to clinch but Dingo is avoiding it.
Dingo looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Khan throws a right hand that Dingo ducks under and follows up with a left that Dingo also avoids with ease.

Dingo rushes Khan and presses him up against the cage.
Khan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Dingo is looking for a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ringo Dingo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Khan can't break the clinch.
Khan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dingo has him pressed against the cage.

Khan wants to break free but Dingo has control.

Dingo manages to break the clinch.

Dingo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Genghis Khan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dingo is breathing heavily.
Khan tries to clinch there but Dingo circles away.

Dingo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Khan throws Dingo to one side and escapes!
Dingo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A punch combination from Khan misses.
Khan lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Khan.
Dingo tries for a takedown but Khan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Khan slaps away a takedown attempt from Dingo, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Khan closes the distance and clinches.
Khan scores with a nice hook to the head.
Dingo wants to get back to striking at distance but Khan won't allow it.
Khan is trying to break free.
A hook to the body from Khan.
Khan stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Khan lands a body shot.
Khan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Dingo.
Khan tries to circle away but Dingo has him pinned against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Genghis Khan dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Khan rushes Dingo and presses him up against the cage.
Dingo is looking to break free of the clinch but Khan has double underhooks.
Dingo wants to get back to striking at distance but Khan won't allow it.
Khan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dingo.
Khan has Dingo pressed against the cage, preventing Dingo from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Khan.

Dingo pulls Khan into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khan trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dingo's guard.

Khan stands up from Dingo's guard - Khan perhaps looking for a knockout.
Khan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dingo has a takedown stuffed.
Dingo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Khan misses with a double jab.
Khan feints a jab promting Dingo to slip. Khan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dingo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Khan has taken the fight to the clinch.
Dingo has Khan pressed against the cage, preventing Khan from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Khan misses with a body punch.

Khan breaks from the clinch.

Khan forces Dingo back against the cage and clinches.
Khan lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dingo or not.
Khan working hard to break the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Khan has had enough of the clinch but Dingo keeps him there for the moment.

Dingo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Dingo is trying to drag Khan to the mat but Khan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Khan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Oooooh!!! Khan has knocked Dingo down with a huge combo! Khan steps away and waves a wobbly Dingo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Dingo is rocked!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oh Dingo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Khan manages to break the clinch.
Dingo backs away from a small jab... but Khan lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Dingo crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Khan with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Genghis Khan!
