The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maintenance getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Daedalus misses with a takedown
and Maintenance counters with a nice body shot.

Daedalus tries to sprawl but Maintenance drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Maintenance looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Daedalus with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Maintenance is thwarting Daedalus's attempts to control the position.
Maintenance missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Maintenance keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Maintenance really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daedalus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Maintenance connects with a nice short shot to Daedalus's temple.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Maintenance counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Daedalus thinking.

Maintenance gets a takedown into half guard.
Maintenance uses his free foot to push down on Daedalus's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Daedalus.
Maintenance putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Daedalus is bucking up trying to escape but Maintenance cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Maintenance cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Daedalus is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maintenance loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Daedalus scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Maintenance land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Maintenance stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Routine Maintenance!
