Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Norbert Eduard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norbert Eduard has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Norbert Eduard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Ferguson! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eduard throws out a loose jab but Ferguson uses good head movement to avoid it. Eduard fails with an attempt to clinch.
A jab from Eduard misses. Ferguson is looking to land body kicks. Ferguson tries to clinch up but Eduard circles away and keeps his distance. Ferguson closes the distance and clinches up with Eduard, looking for a takedown. Ferguson pushes Eduard against the cage but Eduard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ferguson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Eduard! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Ferguson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Ferguson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ferguson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Eduard is looking to escape. Ferguson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Ferguson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Ferguson lands a heavy elbow. Eduard really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferguson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Ferguson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Eduard to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Eduard shrugs it off. Ferguson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ferguson working for a submission but Eduard is keeping him at bay. Eduard avoids a series of strikes thrown by Ferguson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferguson has hold of Eduard's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Eduard manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Ferguson controlling the pace for now. Ferguson lands a heavy elbow. Eduard on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Eduard tries to get out of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ferguson looking to control and managing it successfully. Ferguson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Eduard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ferguson on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ferguson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Eduard is trying desperately to improve position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Ferguson dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Eduard stuffs the takedown attempt from Ferguson. Ferguson gets slowly back to his feet. Ferguson moves in looking to clinch but Eduard pushes him off. Eduard throws a head kick but Ferguson moves out of range.
Norbert Eduard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Eduard moves in looking to clinch but Ferguson pushes him off. Eduard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ferguson lands with an overhand left. Eduard throws a series of punches but Ferguson avoids them all with ease. Good shot there by Ferguson. Ferguson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Eduard sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ferguson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Eduard takes a swing at Ferguson's ribcage but misses. Ferguson tries to clinch up but Eduard circles away and keeps his distance. Eduard misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ferguson is working for a kimura but Eduard is defending it quite comfortably.
Eduard on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ferguson is pressing down on Eduard's thigh, looking to free his foot. Eduard is holding on for now. Ferguson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Eduard is staying active underneath Ferguson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferguson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Ferguson is looking to take a break and control but Eduard is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ferguson controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Let's hope that Ferguson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Ferguson seems to be looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ferguson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ferguson sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jake Ferguson wasn't active enough on the ground. Ferguson has closed the distance and engaged Eduard in a clinch.
Eduard swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Eduard lands a right hand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ferguson jumps into guard, dragging Eduard to the mat.
Eduard is looking to work some ground and pound but Ferguson has wrist control. Eduard is looking to stand up but Ferguson won't let him. Ferguson wriggles free and stands up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Ferguson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Eduard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Eduard throws a hook but Ferguson avoids it easily. Ferguson closes the distance and pushes Eduard back into the cage. Eduard lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Eduard with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Eduard tries to land knees in the clinch but Ferguson avoids the damage to the body. Eduard wants to stall.
Eduard connects with a nasty looking knee right to Ferguson's face.
Ferguson gets a trip takedown into half guard. Ferguson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Eduard preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Ferguson escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Ferguson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Eduard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ferguson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Eduard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ferguson as he jumps to the side. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ferguson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Eduard looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Eduard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ferguson. Ferguson controls the position. Ferguson decides to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ferguson's corner calls for a 1-2. Ferguson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Eduard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Eduard throws a jab but it's blocked by Ferguson. This has been an exciting period of action! Ferguson tries to close the distance and clinch but Eduard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Eduard tries to bum rush Ferguson with a series of wild strikes but Ferguson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ferguson digs a good body shot into Eduard's ribs. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ferguson. Ferguson landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Ferguson tries for a kimura but Eduard is defending well. Ferguson decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ferguson scores with a takedown into Eduard's guard. Ferguson stands and throws Eduard's legs to the side, diving into side control. Ferguson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Ferguson advances to full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ferguson controlling from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ferguson landing punches.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Ferguson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ferguson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Jake Ferguson! Jake Ferguson opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
