Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mad Max (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samurai Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mad Max! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Samurai Jack! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jack lands a leg kick that knocks Max off balance momentarily. Jack leaves Max with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jack scoring well with a low kick there.
Max throws a leg kick but Jack sees it coming and checks it nicely. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jack.
Jack tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Max is able to avoid easily. Max misses with a leg kick and Jack counters with a head kick. That will keep Max thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Jack throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jack misses with a body kick. Max tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jack swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jack throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jack gets caught napping as Max dives in and scores a takedown. Jack manages to retain guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jack looking to hit a scissor sweep but Max is one step ahead there. Max is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Max trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Max engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jack wants to stand up but Max is controlling him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Max wants to pass the guard but Jack is keeping the position. Max works a leg free and moves into half guard. Max takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Jack is trying to stand up here but Max is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jack won't allow Max to pass to mount. Max trying to control the action but Jack is working from the bottom. Max tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jack knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Max working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Jack's thigh. Jack counters though and makes it back to full guard. Max is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Max pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jack is keeping the position for now. Jack looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jack is controlling Max's posture.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Jack bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Jack avoids the head kick by Max.
Max closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jack circles away. Max drives through and clinches with Jack against the cage.
Jack lands a damaging elbow. Jack landing knees to the head.
Max lands an elbow inside that Jack shrugs off. Jack tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Max stalling against the cage.
Jack with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Jack tries to throw a body punch but Max avoids it by throwing Jack back against the cage. Max fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Jack is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mad Max. That's going to take a lot out of him. Max connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Samurai Jack has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Max has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jack is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Max wants a takedown.
Jack makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Max blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Jack struggles to land a body shot inside as Max controls his hands.
Jack dodges an elbow strike from Max.
Jack lands with a right to the head. A shot in the inside from Jack. Jack tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Jack. Jack tries a knee to the head but Max blocks it.
Max tries to land a knee to the head but Jack blocks with his arms.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jack tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Max is looking for a takedown. Max drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mad Max will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Samurai Jack's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Both fighters circling a little - Jack finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Max drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Max misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Jack is looking for a sweep. Max trying to control the action but Jack is working from the bottom. Max happy to just control the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jack is trying to get back to half guard. Max in side control, just content to control the action for now. Jack gets back to half guard. Max is pressing down on Jack's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jack is holding on for now. Max is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jack is looking for a sweep. Max is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Max thows a huge punch but Jack dodges it nicely.
Max is looking to take a break and control but Jack is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Max prevents Jack from standing back up.
Jack tries to get to full guard but Max has control of the leg. Jack is refusing to be controlled, as Max sits in half guard. Max controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jack wants to control but Max is keeping busy.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jack tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Max tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jack paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jack on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Max. Max obviously looking to wear him down.
Jack tries a head kick but it misses.
Max feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jack's calf. Max throws a head kick but Jack moves out of range.
Max tries to clinch up. Max tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jack tries to close the distance and clinch but Max swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Jack walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Max checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Samurai Jack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Max tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Jack swings away with a leg kick that misses. Max throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. A slapping leg kick lands for Jack.
Max throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Max connects with an inside leg kick. Max lands a nice looking kick to the body. Jack takes a step back to recover. A nice inside leg kick there by Max. That's going to slow Jack down. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Max looks for the body kick but Jack saw that one coming. A head kick misses from Jack. A solid leg kick lands there for Jack.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jack throws a sloppy head kick and Max counters with a good low kick that Jack was not able to check. Jack goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Max.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mad Max dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Samurai Jack's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Jack tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Max attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Max displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jack throws out the jab. Max shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jack's guard. Jack trying to keep a closed guard but Max is proving a slippery customer.

Max wants to control from the top but Jack keeps moving. Max pushing down on Jack's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Max is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Max wants to control but Jack is keeping him busy. Max with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Max is looking to take a break and control but Jack is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jack pushes Max off looking to stand but Max dives back in and keeps control.
Jack is trying to escape back to his feet but Max uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Max working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jack takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Max is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jack's shoulder. That is not cool. Max wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jack, who protects the arm well. Max working the head and body with strikes. Max wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jack keeps working. Jack is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jack can't do much from the bottom here. Jack tries to control but Max manages to take his back. Max biding his time, looking for the opening.
A lull in the action here.
Max lands punches and elbows. Jack wants to get back to his feet. Jack can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Max wants to control but Jack is keeping busy. Jack tries to escape but Max has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Max is cranking Jack's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Jack! He's tightened the choke and Jack is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Mad Max! A relieved looking Mad Max thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
