The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbosa misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pontes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Barbosa counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Pontes!
Barbosa looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Barbosa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Pontes wants to control but Barbosa is having none of it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Igor Barbosa will probably get the nod.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, if Barbosa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
