Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Chua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Gallman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gallman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. let it rock kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chua takes one to the chin there.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Gallman and Chua goes tumbling to the canvas! Gallman follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Chua is rocked!
Chua is trying to get back to full guard.
Oh Chua is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gallman is looking to take a break and control but Chua is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Chua wants to sweep here but Gallman controlling him for the moment.
Gallman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Chua had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gallman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Chua Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gallman's back instead.

Gallman breaks Chua's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Chua is looking to get back to full guard here but Gallman has managed to pass to side control instead.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Gallman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chua. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gallman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chua looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Chua tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gallman wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Gallman advances nicely into full mount.
Gallman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Chua bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Chua drops back looking for a leg! Gallman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gallman manages to kick Chua off! Chua jumps back into Gallman's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Chua drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gallman looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gallman looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gallman!

Chua manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Gallman tries to roll over but Chua keeps him under control.
Chua wants to free his trapped foot but Gallman is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Chua looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Chua wants to work for an arm triangle but Gallman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chua is looking for a kimura here.

Chua is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gallman is just riding it out for now. Chua eventually gives up the hold.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Chua shoots in for a double leg but Gallman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gallman works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chua.
Gallman drops Chua with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Chua! Gallman dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cameron Gallman!
