Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Moorhouse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dusty Adamek! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adamek lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Moorhouse backs up against the ropes.
A head kick misses from Adamek. A left and a right from Moorhouse both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Dusty Adamek has been cut. Adamek has a takedown stuffed. Moorhouse looks for the body kick but Adamek saw that one coming. Adamek misses with a two punch combination.
Adamek rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moorhouse moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Moorhouse keeps the fight on the outside. Adamek gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Moorhouse prevents a takedown attempt there.
Moorhouse prevents Adamek from breaking the clinch. Moorhouse has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Adamek is trying to keep an underhook but Moorhouse manages to get the takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Moorhouse tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Adamek is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Moorhouse's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Moorhouse's back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Moorhouse is taking damage to the body and head. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Adamek is looking for the choke from the back position but Moorhouse is controlling his hands well. Will Adamek go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Adamek scores with punches to the body. Good control from Adamek. Adamek doesn't have the hooks in and Moorhouse manages to turn into his guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Moorhouse throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Adamek escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moorhouse gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Moorhouse won't allow Adamek to get back to his feet. Moorhouse is fighting to break Adamek's control of his arms but Adamek is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Moorhouse wants to stand but Adamek is controlling his posture from full guard. Adamek trying to keep a closed guard but Moorhouse is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moorhouse accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Moorhouse throws a big elbow that misses. Moorhouse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adamek swivels though and keeps the full guard. Moorhouse working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Moorhouse trying to control but Adamek is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Steven Moorhouse wasn't doing enough on the ground. Moorhouse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Adamek moves away. Adamek connects with a good right hand that stumbles Moorhouse. Moorhouse circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adamek misses with a double jab.
A combination from Moorhouse does no damage. Moorhouse pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Adamek throws a body punch but Moorhouse moves out of range. Adamek is looking to clinch but Moorhouse is avoiding it.
Adamek shoots in but Moorhouse avoids the takedown attempt easily. Steven Moorhouse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dusty Adamek. Adamek tries to bum rush Moorhouse with a series of wild strikes but Moorhouse uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Moorhouse drives through and clinches with Adamek against the ropes.

Adamek lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Adamek. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A close round but Dusty Adamek will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Dusty Adamek's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Moorhouse scores with a sloppy right hand. Adamek should have avoided that one. Moorhouse throws a sloppy head kick and Adamek moves out of range easily. Adamek misses with a two punch combination.
Moorhouse cracks the inside of Adamek's front leg. Adamek closes this distance looking for a takedown but Moorhouse circles away. Moorhouse moves out of range of the body kick. Moorhouse tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Adamek manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Some wild striking there from Moorhouse.
Moorhouse lands a leg kick that knocks Adamek off balance momentarily. Adamek misses with a double jab
letting Moorhouse counter with a right hand. Moorhouse misses with a body kick. No joy there for Adamek, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Adamek shoots for a double leg takedown but Moorhouse sprawls well. He's pushed Adamek's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Moorhouse throws a right hand that Adamek ducks under and follows up with a left that Adamek also avoids with ease. Moorhouse tries to land a front kick but Adamek steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Adamek misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Moorhouse lands a head kick. Adamek smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Adamek closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Adamek perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Adamek is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Adamek tries to pass the half guard into mount. Moorhouse knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Adamek wants to take a breather but Moorhouse is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moorhouse is trying to maintain the position but Adamek is very close to passing his half guard. Adamek is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Moorhouse sees it coming and defends easily. Moorhouse regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Adamek. Adamek is trying to control. Moorhouse wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Moorhouse wants to get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Adamek is figuring out what he wants to do next. Adamek trying to control the action but Moorhouse is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Dusty Adamek will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Dusty Adamek's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Adamek drives through with a takedown into Moorhouse's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Moorhouse keeping moving, preventing Adamek from controlling successfully. Adamek gets to his feet - Moorhouse follows without any prompting. Adamek will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Adamek looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moorhouse is fending him off so far but Adamek persists. Nope, Moorhouse circles away and we're back to standing. Adamek takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Adamek tries to clinch there but Moorhouse circles away.

Steven Moorhouse is winning the standup battle so far. Adamek fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Moorhouse looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Adamek fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Moorhouse closes the distance and pushes Adamek back into the ropes. Moorhouse stops a takedown attempt from Adamek.
Steven Moorhouse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dusty Adamek. Adamek is pressed up against the ropes. Moorhouse has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Adamek down to the mat. Adamek avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Adamek fails with a takedown attempt. Adamek shoots for a takedown but Moorhouse saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dusty Adamek is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Adamek was covering up waiting for the punch and Moorhouse finishes the takedown easily into guard. Moorhouse preventing the sweep. Moorhouse trying to control but Adamek is working from the bottom. Moorhouse postures up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moorhouse wants to pass the guard but Adamek is keeping the position. Moorhouse stands up over Adamek, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Dusty Adamek has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moorhouse trying to control the position from guard on top but Adamek is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Adamek controls Moorhouse momentarily but Moorhouse frees himself. Adamek is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Dusty Adamek. Adamek looks for a takedown but Moorhouse sprawls well. Adamek looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moorhouse is fending him off so far but Adamek persists. Nope, Moorhouse circles away and we're back to standing. Moorhouse throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Moorhouse misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moorhouse stuffs the takedown. Moorhouse shoots for a double leg takedown but Adamek sprawls well. He's pushed Moorhouse's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Steven Moorhouse has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Moorhouse misses with a hook. Adamek ducked under it nicely. Adamek avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Steven Moorhouse. I think Adamek has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
