Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diesel Kreedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kreedy comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Stop. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Diesel Kreedy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adam Steel! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Steel throws the left hand but Kreedy avoids the punch easily. Kreedy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Steel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kreedy's waist but Kreedy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steel off to one side. Kreedy connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Steel's hands. Steel on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kreedy closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Steel jumps guard but Kreedy stands there with Steel around his waist. Steel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kreedy prevents Steel from getting back to his feet. Steel working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kreedy. Steel preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kreedy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kreedy postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kreedy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Kreedy cracks Steel with a solid left hand. Steel keeping moving, preventing Kreedy from controlling successfully. Steel keeping full guard, as Kreedy tries to pass. Kreedy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kreedy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kreedy trying to control but Steel is working from the bottom. Kreedy tries to free his leg and advance position but Steel is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kreedy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Steel works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kreedy trying to control but Steel is working from the bottom. Kreedy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kreedy looking to sit in guard and control but Steel gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Steel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kreedy pushes Steel off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kreedy slaps away a takedown attempt from Steel, before circling back to the center of the mat. Diesel Kreedy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Steel.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel shoots in and drives through. Kreedy sprawls well. Steel misses the jab. Kreedy lands with a thumping leg kick.
Kreedy gets a takedown into half guard. Steel keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kreedy missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kreedy controlling the action here. Kreedy seems to be looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kreedy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Steel is trying to maintain the position but Kreedy is very close to passing his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diesel Kreedy dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kreedy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kreedy preventing the sweep. Steel avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kreedy preventing the sweep. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Steel shoots in and drives through. Kreedy sprawls well. Kreedy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kreedy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Steel is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kreedy scores with a couple of nice shots. Kreedy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Steel doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kreedy. Kreedy working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kreedy. Kreedy content to control rather than advance. Steel has hold of Kreedy's hands but Kreedy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kreedy missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kreedy winds up and cracks Steel with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kreedy drops an elbow to the side of Steel's head. Steel keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kreedy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Steel can do to turn this around?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kreedy throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kreedy is nestled in close to Steel, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Kreedy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Steel is just riding it out for now. Kreedy eventually gives up the hold. Diesel Kreedy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kreedy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Steel's head. Kreedy is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kreedy trying to control from half guard but Steel is working away. Kreedy is taking a breather. Steel says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Kreedy not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kreedy misses with a head shot. Steel uses the momentum to regain guard. Kreedy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diesel Kreedy dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Steel shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kreedy pinned against the cage. Kreedy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Steel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kreedy forces Steel back against the cage and clinches. Steel is trying to drag Kreedy to the mat but Kreedy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Diesel Kreedy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam Steel. Kreedy is pressed up against the cage. Steel has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kreedy down to the mat. Kreedy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Steel takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Kreedy dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Steel. That did some damage! Kreedy fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kreedy throws a low kick but Steel avoids it. Kreedy attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Kreedy walks into a stiff left hand from Steel. Steel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A punch combination from Kreedy misses. Kreedy lands a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steel shoots in looking for a takedown but Kreedy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Steel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Steel takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kreedy shoots in and bounces Steel off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kreedy showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Kreedy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Steel for as long as he can get away with. Kreedy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kreedy throws a strike but Steel rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Steel throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kreedy works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Steel stopping the sweep attempt from Kreedy. We're going to have a standup here because Diesel Kreedy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kreedy wants to clinch up but Steel keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kreedy lunges at Steel with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Steel's hand. Steel misses with a takedown attempt and Kreedy counters with a left to the body. A momentary lapse in concentration from Steel enables Kreedy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Steel manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Steel keeping moving, preventing Kreedy from controlling successfully. Steel working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kreedy. Kreedy throwing strikes from guard but Steel blocks nicely. Kreedy landing with the ground and pound. Diesel Kreedy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Steel can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kreedy controls the pace. Adam Steel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kreedy is looking to work some ground and pound but Steel has wrist control. Steel wants to sweep here but Kreedy controlling him for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Diesel Kreedy showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kreedy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Diesel Kreedy! After the fight, Diesel Kreedy was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
