The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slack is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Win 's half guard. Win looks gassed! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Slack trying to control the pace. Slack postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Win to stand up. Slack lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Slack. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Win 's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slack lands an elbow. This has been an exciting period of action! A lull in the action here. Slack is working to tighten is grip on Win 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Win has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Slack is really squeezing tight and eventually Win passes out! Slack breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
