Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Diego Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wedge throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Nunes takes a swing at Wedge's ribcage but misses.
Wedge slips a jab from Nunes.
Nunes tries to close the distance and clinch but Wedge swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Nunes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nunes is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Wedge looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nunes gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Wedge is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nunes lets go of the hold and Wedge can pop his arm back in it's socket.
