The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Ares.
Cochrane looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ares!
Ares regains half guard.
Ares trying to control but Cochrane postures up.
Ares wants to improve his position but Cochrane is controlling well.
Cochrane wants to get back to his feet.
Ares works his way to full guard. Good work.
Cochrane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ares on the ground.
Cochrane throwing strikes from guard but Ares blocks nicely.
Cochrane tries to free his leg and advance position but Ares is retaining full guard.

Ares scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Ares lands with a nice combination. Cochrane backs away looking to recover.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ares feints a jab promting Cochrane to slip. Ares then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cochrane slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ares throws a right and a left that Cochrane avoids nicely.
Cochrane moves in looking to clinch but Ares pushes him off.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Ares!
Cochrane is rocked!
Ares is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Cochrane is in big trouble! Ares is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Cochrane. Poor guy.
