Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boss Quatro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Solid Soldier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Quatro as he checks the leg kick.
Quatro stuffs the takedown attempt from Soldier. Soldier gets slowly back to his feet.
Quatro looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Soldier looks to land a body kick but Quatro moved away.
Quatro shoots in and gets a takedown into Soldier's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Quatro lands a couple of elbows.
Soldier wants to stand and escape but Quatro is having none of it.

Soldier on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Soldier can do anything to dispel that myth.
Quatro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Quatro shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Soldier napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Soldier tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Quatro wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Soldier jumps guard and drags Quatro to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Quatro shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Soldier sprawls well. Soldier wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Quatro gets slowly back to his feet.

Soldier tries to hold on but Quatro pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quatro is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Soldier can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Quatro takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Quatro is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Soldier can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
