Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Connely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Crump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connely's entrance music is I Gave My Love to Erin. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Connely!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Crump!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connely lands a leg kick that knocks Crump off balance momentarily.
Crump shoots in looking for a takedown but Connely manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Crump's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Connely throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Connely loads up on a big right hand but Crump slips the punch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Crump looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Crump shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Connely as he avoids it easily.
Connely shoots in and gets a takedown into Crump's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Crump is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Connely working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Crump bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Connely's guard.
Connely wants to sweep here but Crump controlling him for the moment.
Crump throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Connely throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Crump wants to control from the top but Connely keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Crump sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Crump thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Connely working for a triangle but Crump defends it easily.
Connely throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Connely trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Connely striking off his back but it's not causing Crump any problems.
Crump wants to control from the top but Connely keeps moving.
Crump passes Connely's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Crump is working for a submission of some sort.
Connely lands with a few short shots to the body.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Connely actively working from the bottom here.
Connely misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Connely looking for subs from the bottom but Crump mounts him!
Connely is breathing heavily.
Crump with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crump seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Connely is holding on tight.
Crump has control of Connely's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Connely regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Crump has isolated one of Connely's arms. Connely looking to fight him off but Crump twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
