Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aaron Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tommy Harper!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone tries to keep at a distance but Harper has taken the fight into the clinch.
Harper can't break the clinch.
Stone misses with a punch on the inside.
Harper has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Stone avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Harper is trying to pull guard but Stone has him pressed against the cage.
Harper taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Harper has had enough of the clinch but Stone keeps him there for the moment.
Harper should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Stone misses with a punch to the body.
Stone tries for a takedown but Harper manages to get underhooks.
Stone stalling the fight.

Stone blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Harper can't break the clinch.
Stone holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Harper is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Aaron Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Harper.

Stone has picked Harper up - he's going for a ride! Stone dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Stone looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Stone is thwarting Harper's attempts to control the position.
Stone passes the guard and advances to mount!
Stone can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Harper is looking to escape.
Harper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stone is working for a guillotine from mount but Harper frees his head quite easily.
Stone controlling from the full mount.
Stone misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Stone can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Harper is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stone throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Harper working to try and regain half guard.
Harper avoids a series of strikes thrown by Stone.
Harper wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Stone.
Stone trying to control but Harper is having none of it.
Harper tries to lock up and control but Stone gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Harper is squirming around, avoiding Stone's attempts to control the action.

Stone working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Harper tries to reverse the position but Stone maintains control.

Stone goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Harper is on top in guard.
Stone wants to sweep but no luck.
Stone controls Harper momentarily but Harper frees himself.
Harper must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stone is on top in guard.
Stone passes into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aaron Stone dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Stone tries to clinch up.
Tommy Harper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Harper fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Stone buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Stone loads up on a big right hand but Harper slips the punch.

Stone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Stone advances position into side control!
Stone working away.
Stone controlling from side mount.
Harper is breathing heavily.
Stone in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Harper tries to buck Stone off but Stone is having none of it.
Stone throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Stone scores with punches from side control.
Stone has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Stone thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Stone controlling his opponent.
Stone trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Stone is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Harper can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Harper avoids a series of strikes thrown by Stone.
Stone wants to control the pace but Harper is squirming around nicely.
Stone sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Stone throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Whack. That's a big, big shot from Stone! Harper is out cold! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Aaron Stone!
An out of breath Aaron Stone thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
