Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Miolnir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boss Tres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Piotr Miolnir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Boss Tres! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miolnir shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tres is trying to defend but Miolnir finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Miolnir looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tres is trying to stand up here but Miolnir is controlling him well. Miolnir passes to side control. Miolnir trying to control the position but Tres is working away. Miolnir goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Tres rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Miolnir's guard! Nice work there by Tres!
That's one minute gone in the round. Tres trying to control but Miolnir is working from the bottom. Tres is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Miolnir being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Boss Tres was stalling too much, according to the referee. Tres scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Tres works to advance to full mount. Miolnir defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miolnir tries to hold on but Tres postures up. Miolnir working to try and regain half guard.
Tres is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Miolnir can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Tres has control of Miolnir's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Miolnir regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Tres won't let Miolnir get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tres jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Miolnir manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miolnir is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Tres tries to advance to mount but can't. Miolnir sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Tres passes the guard and advances to mount! Tres is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Miolnir can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Miolnir is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tres looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Tres is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Miolnir has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Miolnir can't escape the position.
Tres can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Miolnir is looking to escape. Tres raining down shots from the mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tres cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Tres landing strikes, looking to finish! Tres looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boss Tres dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Miolnir looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Tres! Tres bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Tres works a leg free and moves into half guard. Tres is taking a breather. Miolnir says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Miolnir has one foot on Tres's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Miolnir shoots in and gets a takedown into Tres's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tres is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miolnir wants to control from the top but Tres keeps moving. Tres not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tres is looking to sweep but instead, Miolnir has passed into half guard.
Tres tries to get to full guard but Miolnir has control of the leg. Miolnir is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tres defends it well. Tres is pressing down on Miolnir's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tres wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Tres is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Miolnir defends well. Miolnir wants to pass the guard but Tres is keeping the position. Miolnir being controlled here momentarily. Tres looking for subs off his back but Miolnir has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Miolnir in particular looking to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tres strikes from the bottom but Miolnir uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Miolnir is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tres has escaped the position, nice work there. Miolnir trying to control the action but Tres is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tres is trying to control Miolnir's posture but Miolnir avoids it. Miolnir will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Miolnir swings around for an armbar but Tres sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Miolnir's guard. Tres postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tres wants to control from the top but Miolnir keeps moving. Tres postures up and lands a big shot to Miolnir's brow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Boss Tres will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Tres. Tres wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miolnir keeps working. Tres working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Miolnir dodges the ground and pound from Tres. You can see the frustration on Miolnir's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miolnir manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tres seems to be looking for submissions.
Tres is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Miolnir has managed to free his arm - good work. Miolnir controlling the position for now. Miolnir moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Boss Tres has got the better of the ground game so far. Miolnir wants to stand up but Tres is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miolnir is pulling down on Tres's head to control his posture. Tres is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Tres wants to pass the guard but Miolnir is keeping the position. Tres trying to control the position from guard on top but Miolnir is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Boss Tres wasn't active enough on the ground. Tres closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miolnir wants to get back to his feet.

Tres is keen to just control but Miolnir is a slippery customer. Miolnir gets full guard. Miolnir is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Miolnir wants to get back to his feet but Tres drags him back down. Tres cracks Miolnir with an elbow. That is naaassty. Tres has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Miolnir is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Tres yanks on the arm and Miolnir is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Tres.
