Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rene Perez! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savas moves in looking to clinch but Perez pushes him off. Savas takes a swing at Perez's ribcage but misses. Savas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Perez pinned against the cage. Perez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Perez swats away the attempt to clinch by Savas. Perez shoots in but Savas avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nice sprawl there from Perez as Savas shoots in. Savas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Perez pinned against the cage. Savas displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Nice sprawl there from Perez as Savas shoots in. Perez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Savas's guard. Perez lands a couple of elbows. Savas working for a triangle but Perez defends it easily.

Perez throwing strikes from guard but Savas blocks nicely. This has been an exciting period of action! Perez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Perez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Savas keeping moving, preventing Perez from controlling successfully. Savas looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Perez passes into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Savas struggling a bit here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Savas taking a bit of punishment here - Perez scoring with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savas tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Perez easily slips into full mount! Perez raining down hammerfists from mount. Perez lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Perez prevents Savas from getting the reversal. Perez looking to finish with strikes here!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Perez working away from the top, dropping strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Savas tries to hold on but Perez postures up. Perez looking to finish Savas with some ground and pound. This is bad for Savas! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Poor strikes thrown by Perez there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Savas is looking to improve his position but Perez isn't that keen on the idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rene Perez dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Perez tries to free his leg and advance position but Savas is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Savas is on top in guard.
Savas throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Perez wants to sweep but no luck. Savas loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Savas keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Perez's head. Savas is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perez is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Perez has a closed guard, preventing Savas from standing up. Perez keeping full guard, as Savas tries to pass. Savas is working hard here to advance position. Rene Perez has got the better of the ground game so far. Savas postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Savas shoots for a double leg takedown but Perez sprawls well. He's pushed Savas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Savas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Perez as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Killian Savas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Savas tries a head kick but it misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Savas scores with a kick to the midsection. Savas looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Perez wants to control but Savas is keeping busy and won't allow it. Perez blocking the ground and pound attempt from Savas. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Savas throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Savas is looking to take a break and control but Perez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Killian Savas dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Savas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Savas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Perez is just riding it out for now. Savas eventually gives up the hold. Perez is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Savas jumps into side control! Perez on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Perez gets back to half guard.

Savas wants to control but Perez is keeping him busy. Savas stalling. Perez is controlling Savas's position as best he can from this difficult position. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Savas is trying to control the action in half guard but Perez is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Killian Savas wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Horrible takedown by Savas or perhaps it was just good defense by Perez which made him look bad. Savas wants to clinch up but Perez keeps it at a distance. Savas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Perez quickly recovers to half guard. Savas wants to take a breather but Perez is having none of it. Perez is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savas is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Killian Savas just wasn't active enough. Perez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Savas gets back to half guard. Savas controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Perez stops Savas from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perez lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Savas is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Perez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Perez's back! Perez looking very determined here, making life difficult for Savas.
Savas is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Perez taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Savas.
