Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jims Second (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David Da Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Da Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jims Second! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Second swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Second is trying hard to land a takedown here. Da Silva sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Da Silva looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Da Silva swings widly with a right hand
and Second counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Da Silva thinking. No joy there for Second, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice takedown defense from Da Silva. No joy for Second on that attempt. Da Silva scores with a head kick. Second tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Da Silva on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Second misses with a series of wild punches.
Second tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Da Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Second. A kick lands to the mid section there for Da Silva.
That's one minute gone in the round. Second throws a body punch but Da Silva moves out of range. Second misses with a double jab.
Second looks to land a left hand but Da Silva moved out of range nicely. Second fails to land the takedown. David Da Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jims Second. Nice defenses there by Da Silva. Second shoots in looking for a takedown but Da Silva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Second's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Da Silva punishes Second's body with a nice straight punch. Second with a lazy takedown attempt and Da Silva makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Second changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Da Silva tries to avoid it but Second manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Da Silva to the ground. Da Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Da Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Second moves out of range easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Second shoots in for a double leg but Da Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Second takes a swing at Da Silva's ribcage but misses. Da Silva steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Second. Second fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nice straight punches there by Da Silva. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Da Silva. Second is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Da Silva rather than just go for the knockout. Second avoids the head kick by Da Silva.
Second shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Da Silva as he jumps to the side. Da Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Second was well out of range. Poor timing from Da Silva. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Da Silva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Da Silva misses with a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Second shoots in and gets a takedown into Da Silva's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Second trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Second throws a big elbow that misses. Second makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Second trying to control the position from guard on top but Da Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Da Silva utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Second missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Second stays in close to Da Silva's body and controls the position. Second throws a strike but Da Silva rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Second wants to stand up but Da Silva is controlling him. Da Silva has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The ref stands the fighters back up because David Da Silva just wasn't active enough. Second looks to land a combination but Da Silva avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jims Second dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Da Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Second throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Da Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily. Da Silva scores with a leg kick.
Second takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Second paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. David Da Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Second jabbing away but nothing is landing. Da Silva throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Da Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Second moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Second lands with a straight right. Da Silva didn't see that one coming. Da Silva misses with a straight left. Da Silva tries to sprawl but Second drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Second seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Da Silva does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Da Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Second on the ground. Second not landing any meaningful shots this time. Second stops Da Silva from getting back to his feet.
Second throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Second performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Second wants to pass to mount but Da Silva is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Second trying to control from half guard but Da Silva is working away. Second might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Da Silva kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Jims Second has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Second shoots for a double leg takedown but Da Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Second's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Da Silva feints and then cracks Second's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Second down. Da Silva misses the jab. Second displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Second fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A jab from Da Silva misses. Sloppy strikes from Da Silva. Those never looked like landing. Da Silva uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Second. Second misses the jab. David Da Silva is winning the standup battle so far. Da Silva lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Da Silva looks to score with a jab to the body but Second is just out of range. Da Silva clobbers Second with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Da Silva swings widly with a right hand
and Second counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Da Silva gets caught napping as Second dives in and scores a takedown. Da Silva manages to retain guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Second throws a strike but Da Silva rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Second is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Da Silva stops a takedown attempt from Second.
David Da Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jims Second. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Da Silva tries to land a knee to the head but Second blocks with his arms.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Da Silva landing knees to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jims Second will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Da Silva staying out of range there. Second misses the shot to the body. Second takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Second on the wrong end of a nice hook. Da Silva with a jab. Da Silva throws a chopping leg kick but Second manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Second gets the takedown into side control. Second trying to control the action but Da Silva is working from the bottom. Da Silva regains half guard there - taking advantage of Second's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Second with the ground and pound but Da Silva uses the opportunity to regain guard. Second throws an elbow that misses. Da Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Second's guard. Nice move by Da Silva! Second wants to sweep but no luck. Second manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Second throws a hook but Da Silva blocks it. Second shoots for a double leg takedown but Da Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Second's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Da Silva digs a good body shot into Second's ribs. Second is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Da Silva. Da Silva feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Seconds jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Second misses with a body shot.
Second misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Da Silva throws a right hand that Second ducks under and follows up with a left that Second also avoids with ease. Second shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Da Silva taking shots to the head. Second thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Da Silva is squirming around, avoiding Second's attempts to control the action. Second has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Poor strikes thrown by Second there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Second putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Second wants to control the pace but Da Silva is squirming around nicely. Second lands a big shot there that rocks Da Silva but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Second connects with a bit shot that sees Da Silva covering up! More strikes from Second and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Second is our winner by TKO!
