Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Doe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 48 - 27 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barbara Boxer!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boxer was well out of range. Poor timing from Doe.
Doe misses with a two punch combination.
Doe feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Boxer's calf.
Doe delivers a nice body kick.
John Doe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doe cracks the inside of Boxer's front leg.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Doe.
Doe fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Boxer is out of range.
Crunch! Doe slams his shin into Boxer's torso.
Doe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Doe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Doe throws a leg kick which misses Boxer's front leg but catches the back leg as Boxer tries to avoid it.
Doe scoring well with a low kick there.
Boxer avoids the head kick by Doe.
Doe scores with a kick to the body.
Boxer looks gassed!
Doe lands a nice leg kick that just misses Boxer's sensitive parts.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Doe lands a really nice looking cross but Boxer seems unphased.


It looks like Barbara Boxer has been cut.
Doe will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Boxer stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Doe.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Doe, as that shot connected.
Doe lands a jab to Boxer's midsection.
Doe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Boxer on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Doe throws a low kick, looking for Boxer's leg but Boxer calmly moves out of range.
Boxer loads up on a big right hand but Doe slips the punch.
Doe fakes the leg kick and cracks Boxer in the body.
Doe throws a right and a left that both miss.
A solid body kick from Doe.
Boxer has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Doe finds it's way round the side to connect with Boxer's head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boxer sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A solid leg kick lands there for Doe.
Doe throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A nice leg kick lands there from Doe.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boxer crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Doe - the referee stops the clock and Boxer gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Doe. Boxer manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Doe misses with a hook to the body
and Boxer counters with a stiff right hand.
Good leg kick by Doe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Doe punishes Boxer's body with a nice straight punch.
Boxer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boxer gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Boxer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Boxer's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Doe sizes up Boxer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Doe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boxer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Doe is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Doe bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Doe will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Doe connects with a leg kick. Boxer looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Doe - that will leave a mark!
Doe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Boxer takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


Boxer is rocked!


That has opened up Barbara Boxer's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doe lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Boxer out cold! Boxer is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John Doe!
A very excited looking John Doe made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
