Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gaston Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amin Sabz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sabz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Champ is here!. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gaston Perez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Amin Sabz! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perez clobbers Sabz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Sabz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Jab by Perez. Perez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A bone on bone clash there as Sabz blocks the leg kick.
Sabz has managed to clinch.
Sabz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice takedown defense from Perez. No joy for Sabz on that attempt. Perez circles away from the clinch attempt.
Perez scores with a hook. Perez moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Perez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Nice uppercut lands for Perez. That snapped Sabz's head back.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sabz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Amin Sabz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sabz changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Perez tries to avoid it but Sabz manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Perez to the ground. Perez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A looping hook to the body misses from Sabz. Perez does a little dance to reset his feet. Sabz tries to move into range but Perez moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Perez lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Perez scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Perez scores with a decent looking hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Perez lands an overhand right. A momentary lapse in concentration from Perez enables Sabz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Perez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Sabz working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Perez is on top in guard.
Perez passes into half guard. Sabz on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Perez stalling. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Perez passes to side control. Sabz looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Perez throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Perez decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sabz to his feet. Perez is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Perez lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Perez lands with a straight right. Sabz didn't see that one coming. Sabz takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Sabz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sabz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Perez swats him away and circles back towards the center. Perez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Perez darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Sabz walks into a jab. Sabz takes one on the button. Perez slaps away a takedown attempt from Sabz, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gaston Perez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amin Sabz. Perez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sabz on the side of the head.
Sabz is rocked! and Perez counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Sabz! He's just covering up as Perez starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
