Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Markus Sizemore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kenny Blankenship!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sizemore tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Blankenship manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sizemore drives through with a takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Sizemore drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sizemore jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sizemore is working Blankenship over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Sizemore is pushing down on Blankenship's leg trying to pass to half guard. Blankenship is fighting to maintain full guard but Sizemore has managed to sneak the leg through.

Blankenship throws a nice looking combination but Sizemore bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sizemore fails with an attempt to clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sizemore has hold of Blankenship's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Blankenship manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Sizemore seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Blankenship for as long as he can get away with.
