Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yamamoto Funaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leonard Kinney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kinney's choice of entrance music: Say It Ain't So. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinney just misses with a punch to the body.
Funaki keeps the fight on the outside.
Funaki looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kinney!
Funaki working for a guillotine from mount but Kinney is in no mood to give up.
Funaki fails to advance to Kinney's back.
Funaki with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Funaki goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Kinney turns into him and now he's in Funaki's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Funaki manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Kinney is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Funaki looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Kinney is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Funaki wants to finish this one by submission but Kinney is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Funaki.
Funaki is breathing heavily.
Funaki working for a guillotine from mount but Kinney is in no mood to give up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kinney wants to hold on but Funaki pushes him away.
Kinney might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Funaki kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Kinney keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Funaki has control of Kinney's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kinney regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Funaki has hold of Kinney's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kinney manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Kinney manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Funaki is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kinney is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
