The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Peixoto to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Luis Diaz has been cut.
Diaz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Peixoto sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Sloppy strikes from Peixoto . Those never looked like landing.
Diaz fails with a takedown attempt.
Peixoto lands a nice hook to Diaz's body. Diaz takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Peixoto drops Diaz with a beautiful combination! Diaz stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Peixoto is looking for the KO!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Diaz fails to land with a series of punches.
Peixoto thuds his right hand into Diaz's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Diaz is rocked!
Peixoto misses with a wild combination.
Oh Diaz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Peixoto tries to bum rush Diaz with a series of wild strikes but Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Diaz seems to have got his legs back now.
Peixoto scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Diaz doesn't seem bothered though.
Peixoto scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Diaz is breathing heavily.
Diaz backs away from a small jab... but Peixoto lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Diaz crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Peixoto with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Enzo Peixoto !
