2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kuitton Jaksonen! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dudikoff looks for a takedown but Jaksonen sprawls well. Jaksonen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Dudikoff keeping full guard, as Jaksonen tries to pass. Jaksonen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Dudikoff working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jaksonen. Jaksonen trying to control the position from guard on top but Dudikoff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jaksonen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jaksonen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jaksonen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jaksonen is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Dudikoff Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jaksonen's back instead. Dudikoff is hanging on to Jaksonen's back as he tries to escape.
