And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Golota!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left and a right from Golota both land. Nice combination.


It looks like Michael Gleiser has been cut.
Golota connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gleiser shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Golota but Golota pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Golota lands a slapping body shot.
Golota throws a series of strikes that have Gleiser backpedaling.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Golota closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gleiser circles away.
Gleiser showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Golota.
Gleiser fails with a takedown attempt.
Golota slaps away a takedown attempt from Gleiser, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Gleiser. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Michael Gleiser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gleiser shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Golota but Golota pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Golota ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gleiser moves away.

Golota lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Gleiser misses with a hook. Golota ducked under it nicely.
Golota feints a jab promting Gleiser to slip. Golota then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gleiser slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


Michael Gleiser's cut is getting worse.
Gleiser fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Golota closes the distance and pushes Gleiser back into the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gleiser is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Gleiser trying to land knees to the body.
Golota is trying to break free.
Golota is trying to push Gleiser away but Gleiser has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Golota gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Gleiser regains guard.
Golota wants to get up but he can't break Gleiser's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Gleiser looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Golota tries to free his leg and advance position but Gleiser is retaining full guard.

Gleiser lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Golota!

Gleiser is working for a guillotine from mount but Golota frees his head quite easily.

Golota defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gleiser.

Gleiser goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Golota turns into him and now he's in Gleiser's guard.

Gleiser looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Golota is looking to stand up but Gleiser won't let him.

Gleiser has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Golota should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gleiser has tightened it up now! Golota should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
