0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nick Diaz! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malone staying out of range there. Malone looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Still in half guard, Malone seems content to control. Malone is working for a submission of some sort.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Malone moves into full mount! Diaz won't be happy about that! Malone landing punches. Diaz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Malone lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Diaz is trying desperately to improve position. Malone cracks Diaz with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
