Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julian Casablancas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Hardwick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Casablancas comes to the cage accompanied by Gers Pardoel - Bagagedrager ft. Sef . Hardwick is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Elephant Man - Pon Di River. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Hardwick!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Casablancas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hardwick.
Casablancas looks to score with a jab to the body but Hardwick is just out of range.
Hardwick gets tackled into the cage by Casablancas. Casablancas maintains the clinch.
Hardwick has clasped his hands together around Casablancas's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Casablancas is holding Hardwick down, trying to stall.
Casablancas is trying to improve his position.
Hardwick working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Casablancas is looking for a sweep.
Hardwick creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Casablancas sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Casablancas is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hardwick's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Casablancas tries to roll over but Hardwick keeps him under control.
Hardwick stops Casablancas from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Casablancas is looking for a sweep. Hardwick is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hardwick wants to work for an arm triangle but Casablancas is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Casablancas is not content to let Hardwick control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hardwick uses his free foot to push down on Casablancas's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Casablancas.
Casablancas tries to lock up and control but Hardwick gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hardwick is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Casablancas can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Casablancas is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hardwick with the ground and pound from mount.
Hardwick avoids the attempt from Casablancas to control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hardwick lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Casablancas is bucking up trying to escape but Hardwick cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Casablancas is rocked!
Oooooh, big shot lands for Hardwick! Casablancas is hurt baaadly! Hardwick is firing away with more strikes - Casablancas is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jason Hardwick! Jason Hardwick retains his light heavyweight title!
