Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Seany Scholes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nurzhan Ulmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scholes comes to the cage accompanied by Wonderwall - Oasis. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Seany Scholes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nurzhan Ulmes! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scholes shoots in for a takedown but Ulmes shows good takedown defense. Scholes slips a jab and a cross from Ulmes.
Scholes misses with a takedown attempt - Ulmes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Ulmes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice sprawl there from Ulmes as Scholes shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seany Scholes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ulmes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Scholes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ulmes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Scholes. Ulmes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Scholes moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Scholes tries to clinch up. Ulmes checks a leg kick. Ulmes lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Scholes circles away quickly and effectively. Ulmes lands a two punch combo.
Scholes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Scholes fails to move to back control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! You get the feeling that Ulmes really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scholes wants to control the pace but Ulmes is squirming around nicely. Scholes is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ulmes to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ulmes shrugs it off. Ulmes is looking to improve his position but Scholes isn't that keen on the idea. Scholes is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ulmes has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Scholes looking to control but Ulmes is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Scholes looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Ulmes tries to control the position but Scholes now has his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scholes is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Ulmes taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Scholes.
