Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Miley Cyrus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Salmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salmon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Cyrus holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Salmon wants a takedown.

Cyrus breaks from the clinch.
Salmon misses with a head kick.
Salmon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cyrus is fending him off so far but Salmon persists. Nope, Cyrus circles away and we're back to standing.
Mr Miley Cyrus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Salmon.
Salmon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cyrus sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salmon somewhat.
Salmon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cyrus swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Salmon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cyrus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cyrus throws a right hand that Salmon ducks under and follows up with a left that Salmon also avoids with ease.

Salmon has had enough of the clinch but Cyrus keeps him there for the moment.

Cyrus throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Cyrus is not content to let Salmon control the position.

Cyrus pushes Salmon off looking to stand but Salmon dives back in and keeps control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cyrus shoots in looking for a takedown. Salmon tries to sprawl out of it but Cyrus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Salmon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown by Salmon or perhaps it was just good defense by Cyrus which made him look bad.
