Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Greg Stan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arleo Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arleo Styles told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Greg Stan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arleo Styles! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Styles. Styles fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Arleo Styles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stan lands with a nice combination. Styles backs away looking to recover. Styles connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Styles dives in and grabs Stan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stan pushes down on Styles's head and hops out. Greg Stan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arleo Styles. Styles is trying hard to land a takedown here. Stan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Styles doesn't succeed with the takedown and Stan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Stan prevents Styles from improving his position. Stan missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Stan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Styles keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Styles looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Stan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Styles avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Stan. Stan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Styles is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Stan scores with a couple of nice shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Styles manages to get to full guard.
Stan lands a couple of elbows. Stan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Stan throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stan is looking to work some ground and pound but Styles has wrist control. Stan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Styles is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Styles has escaped and now he's on top! Styles wants to control from the top but Stan keeps moving. Styles preventing the sweep. Stan controlling Styles's posture. Stan looking to hit a scissor sweep but Styles is one step ahead there.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Arleo Styles was stalling too much, according to the referee. Stan misses the body punch and Styles counters with a head kick. That will keep Stan thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Styles misses with a takedown attempt and Stan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Styles's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stan throwing strikes from guard but Styles blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Styles has momentary wrist control but Stan slips an elbow through the middle. Stan trying to control but Styles is working from the bottom. Stan looking to sit in guard and control but Styles gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stan keeping moving, preventing Styles from controlling successfully. Stan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Styles wants to stand but Stan has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Greg Stan dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Styles manages to avoid it. Stan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stan wants it to stay on the feet. Nice sprawl there from Stan as Styles shoots in. Styles has a takedown stuffed. Greg Stan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arleo Styles. Stan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Styles's guard. Stan controls from within his opponent's guard. Stan makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Stan postures up in Styles's guard and throws a big left but Styles blocks it. Stan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Styles uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Stan's guard. Nice move by Styles! Stan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Styles wants to control from the top but Stan keeps moving. Stan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Stan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stan tries to get out of the position. Styles trying to control the position from guard on top but Stan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Styles would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Styles tries to free his leg and advance position but Stan is retaining full guard. Stan keeping moving, preventing Styles from controlling successfully.
Arleo Styles has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Stan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stan is chipping away with strikes.

Greg Stan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Stan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Styles can do to turn this around? Stan with the ground and pound but Styles regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Stan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Styles doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stan. Stan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Styles's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Styles. Stan jabbing away but nothing is landing. Styles throws a head kick that misses. A head kick misses from Styles. Stan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Stan is putting a hurting on Styles here, landing some big shots from side control. Stan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Styles on the ground. Styles taking a bit of punishment here - Stan scoring with strikes. Styles taking punishment in the form of punches.

Stan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! Greg Stan showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
