Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hoopdy Doopdy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Marshland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rich Marshland is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hoopdy Doopdy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rich Marshland!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshland fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Doopdy, pushing him back against the cage.
Marshland tries a body shot but Doopdy blocks it.
Doopdy looking for a takedown.

Marshland struggles to land a body shot inside as Doopdy controls his hands.
Marshland is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Doopdy is defending well for now.
Marshland gets underhooks to prevent Doopdy's takedown attempt.
Doopdy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marshland walks away with a smile on his face. Doopdy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hoopdy Doopdy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Doopdy has his takedown stuffed
and Marshland counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Marshland winds up and cracks Doopdy with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Marshland working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Marshland is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Oh Doopdy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Doopdy looking for submissions off his back.
Doopdy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Doopdy is breathing heavily.
Doopdy is looking for a sweep. Marshland is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Marshland uses his free foot to push down on Doopdy's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Doopdy.
Marshland lands with some strikes.
Marshland softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Doopdy is out cold! Marshland jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rich Marshland!
Rich Marshland opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
