Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pikku Nakarainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsu Higashikuni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nakarainen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Juice Leskinen - Vaasankin veri vapisee. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Pikku Nakarainen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Katsu Higashikuni! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakarainen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Higashikuni! Higashikuni keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Nakarainen wants to control the pace but Higashikuni is squirming around nicely. Higashikuni gets back to half guard. Higashikuni regains full guard. Nicely done. Nakarainen slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Higashikuni looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Nakarainen puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Higashikuni moves into full guard.
Nakarainen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Higashikuni swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nakarainen stays in close to Higashikuni's body and controls the position. Higashikuni wants to sweep here but Nakarainen controlling him for the moment.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Nakarainen trying to control the action but Higashikuni is working from the bottom. Higashikuni actively working from the bottom here. Higashikuni is not content to let Nakarainen control the position.

Nakarainen passes the guard and advances to mount! Nakarainen forces the positional change into back control. Nakarainen is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Higashikuni is defending well though. Nakarainen let's go of the attempt for now. This has been an exciting period of action! Higashikuni tries to escape but Nakarainen has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Nakarainen has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. I would not like to be Higashikuni right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakarainen is trying to stick to Higashikuni's back but Higashikuni is turning into Nakarainen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Nakarainen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Higashikuni. Higashikuni got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nakarainen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Higashikuni has managed to get both his arms back between Nakarainen's legs - danger averted. Nakarainen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Higashikuni is aware though and is defending well. Nakarainen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Higashikuni lands a couple of digs. Nakarainen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Higashikuni trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Nakarainen wants to sweep here but Higashikuni controlling him for the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Higashikuni accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Higashikuni postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Higashikuni working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nakarainen trying to keep a closed guard but Higashikuni is proving a slippery customer.
Nakarainen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nakarainen keeping moving, preventing Higashikuni from controlling successfully. Nakarainen tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Higashikuni stands and throws Nakarainen's legs to the side, diving into side control. Higashikuni is working Nakarainen over with some ground and pound from side control. Higashikuni lands a decent elbow from side control. Higashikuni landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Nakarainen is not content to let Higashikuni control the position. Higashikuni is working to tighten is grip on Nakarainen's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Nakarainen has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Higashikuni is really squeezing tight and eventually Nakarainen passes out! Higashikuni breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Katsu Higashikuni! During a confident post fight interview, Katsu Higashikuni thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
