Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yedo Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim comes to the cage accompanied by "We Be Clubbin (Eye of the Tiger Remix)" by Ice Cube . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Payne closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kim did well to prevent Payne getting side control.

Payne rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kim moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kim, as that shot connected.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Payne walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Kim feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Payne's calf.
Kim is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Kim lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Payne's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Kim connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Kim sends Payne crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kim is motioning to the referee to let Payne up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Payne is rocked!

Kim weaves into range and cracks Payne right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Payne goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Kim is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yedo Kim!
