Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zag Luis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maiquel Jose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose has chosen Skabo-Vuk Vuku Nikad Covek as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zag Luis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Maiquel Jose! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Luis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jose will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Luis scores with a takedown into Jose's guard. Luis trying to control the position from guard on top but Jose is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Luis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jose works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Luis is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Luis looking to pass the guard. Jose pushes Luis off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Luis wants to clinch. Jose tries to sprawl but Luis drives through with a takedown into half guard. Luis missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Jose tries to kick Luis off but Luis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Luis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jose with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Luis wants to take a breather but Jose is having none of it. Jose is trying to stand up here but Luis is controlling him well. Well, if Luis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jose pushes Luis off looking to stand but Luis dives back in and keeps control.
Luis missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jose is looking to escape. Luis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Luis is controlling the pace.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Jose is trying to stand back up but Luis is controlling him
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Luis darts in and clinches Jose up against the cage. Jose has had enough of the clinch but Luis keeps him there for the moment. Jose escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Luis dodges the punch combination from Jose.
Zag Luis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Luis misses with the combination.
Maiquel Jose is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jose misses with a hook to the body
and Luis counters with a left to the body. Luis misses with a takedown attempt and Jose counters with a straight right hand. Luis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Luis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jose sprawls well. Jose wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Luis gets slowly back to his feet. Luis has closed the distance and engaged Jose in a clinch.
Jose is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Luis keeps control of Jose as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Luis tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zag Luis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Luis changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jose fights it off and pushes away nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zag Luis dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Luis with a lazy takedown attempt and Jose counters with a right hand to the body. Luis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jose napping and manages to drive through into side control! Jose takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Luis throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Luis lands a nice forearm strike. Luis lands some shots froms side control. Jose is trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Luis looks up at the clock and then as Jose takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Luis smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Luis trying to control the position but Jose is working away. The ground and pound from Luis seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jose is trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Luis advances nicely into full mount. Jose in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Luis looking to finish Jose with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jose! Luis postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jose looks a forlorn figure.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Luis controlling from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jose is squirming around, avoiding Luis's attempts to control the action. Jose is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Luis controlling from mount. Luis lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Jose hang on? Jose wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jose wants to try and get back to his feet. Luis lands with some strikes. Luis controlling from mount. Luis trying to control but Jose is having none of it. Luis lands a big shot there that rocks Jose but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Luis controlling the position easily from mount. Luis is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jose can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Jose is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jose's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Jose taking shots to the head. Jose is still in real trouble! Can Luis finish him? Jose wants to try and get back to his feet. Jose seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Luis in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Luis postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Jose bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Luis and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zag Luis! A very excited looking Zag Luis made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
