Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Venom Vortex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vortex might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to VOIVOD into the abyss. Venom Vortex has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vortex stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vortex wants it to stay on the feet.
Campbell shoots in but Vortex avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Campbell throws a right hand that Vortex ducks under and follows up with a left that Vortex also avoids with ease.
Venom Vortex seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vortex connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Vortex throws a combination. Campbell tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Campbell moves into the clinch.

Vortex clobbers Campbell with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Campbell throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Vortex tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Campbell is in Vortex's guard.

Vortex thows a body shot but no joy.
A left and a right from Vortex both land. Nice combination.

Campbell shoots in looking for a takedown. Vortex tries to sprawl out of it but Campbell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vortex manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vortex seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vortex, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
