The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Assman or perhaps it was just good defense by Palkow which made him look bad.
Assman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Palkow shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Assman pinned against the cage. Assman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Palkow slips a jab and a cross from Assman.
Assman is breathing heavily.
Assman throws a head kick but Palkow moves out of range.
Assman throws a hook to the side of Palkow's head but Palkow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Assman misses with a two punch combination.

Palkow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Palkow drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Palkow seems to have locked his on tight now - Assman screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Palkow, as he picks up the win!
