Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Splik Lumzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by Bring Me Down (Swollen Mix Feat. Saigon) . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Liddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Splik Lumzer! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Liddell stuffs the takedown. Lumzer has a takedown stuffed. Lumzer avoids the head kick by Liddell.
Tyler Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Liddell displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Liddell lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lumzer shoots in but no luck this time. Tyler Liddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Splik Lumzer. Lumzer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Liddell.

That's better than Lumzer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Liddell wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Lumzer looking to ground and pound but Liddell is blocking nicely. Lumzer cracks Liddell with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lumzer punishing his opponent with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lumzer sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Lumzer is in the full mount, landing strikes. Lumzer throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Liddell because Lumzer loaded up on that one. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Liddell holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Lumzer tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lumzer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Liddell is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Liddell really wants to buck Lumzer off and get back to his feet. Lumzer controlling the pace for now. Lumzer trying to control but Liddell is having none of it. Liddell is trying to stand but he's just given Lumzer his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lumzer misses with a punch to the head. Liddell manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position. Liddell misses with a double jab.
Liddell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lumzer circles away quickly and effectively. Tyler Liddell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lumzer looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Liddell avoids a kick to the body.
Lumzer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Liddell sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Splik Lumzer dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Liddell swats away the attempt to clinch by Lumzer. Lumzer misses with a wild body shot. Liddell throws a series of punches but Lumzer avoids them all with ease. Lumzer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Liddell was well out of range. Poor timing from Lumzer. A punch combination from Liddell misses. Liddell jabs Lumzer right on the nose. Lumzer blinks but takes it well. Liddell bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lumzer's head backwards. Lumzer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Liddell.

letting Lumzer counter with a right hand. The fight stays on the outside here - Lumzer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Liddell slaps away a takedown attempt from Lumzer, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lumzer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Liddell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Liddell looks to land a combination but Lumzer avoids it well. Lumzer fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Liddell misses with a two punch combination.
Lumzer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lumzer shoots in looking for a takedown. Liddell tries to sprawl out of it but Lumzer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Liddell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Tyler Liddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Splik Lumzer. Liddell misses with a series of wild punches.
Lumzer is looking to clinch. Liddell scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lumzer doesn't seem bothered though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lumzer moves in looking to clinch but Liddell pushes him off. Lumzer wants to clinch. Liddell works over Lumzer's head and body with a nice combination. Liddell throws a right and a left that Lumzer avoids nicely. Lumzer doesn't manage to clinch there - Liddell circles away.
Liddell scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Lumzer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Liddell pinned against the cage. Liddell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A looping hook to the body misses from Liddell. Lumzer does a little dance to reset his feet. Liddell chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Liddell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lumzer. Liddell swinging wildly here.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sloppy strikes from Liddell. Those never looked like landing. Lumzer looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Liddell! Lumzer looking to control but Liddell is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Lumzer looking to ground and pound but Liddell is blocking nicely. You get the feeling that Liddell really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lumzer stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Lumzer fails with an attempt to clinch.

Lumzer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Liddell moves away. Lumzer has a takedown stuffed. Lumzer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Liddell.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tyler Liddell will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Tyler Liddell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lumzer shoots in for a double leg but Liddell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lumzer misses with a takedown attempt - Liddell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lumzer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Liddell's waist but Liddell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lumzer off to one side. Tyler Liddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Liddell's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lumzer under the eye. Liddell lands with a nice body punch. Lumzer tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lumzer fails with a takedown attempt. Lumzer shoots in for a double leg but Liddell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lumzer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Liddell circles away. Liddell with a body punch. A glancing blow. A slapping leg kick lands for Liddell.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Liddell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A combination from Liddell does no damage. Lumzer moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
